Do the people signing need an account?
No. They get an email with a signing link, fill in the fields and sign in the browser.
What do I get when it’s done?
A sealed PDF of what was signed, with a Certificate of Completion at the end listing who was sent it, who opened it and who signed, with times. The full audit trail can be downloaded on its own too.
Can Smooth Operator send the document for me?
Not today. You send envelopes from E-Sign. Smooth Operator handles what comes around them: telling you when one is signed, and moving the deal and setting up the next step once it is, each after your yes.
Is E-Sign ready for my business?
E-Sign is in beta and on sale: 100 envelopes a month, up to 10 signers each and 25 templates. Signing, reminders and the audit trail are live; placing fields on the page still has rough edges we’re smoothing out.
Will this replace my team?
No. It takes the chasing: the reminder emails, checking who has signed, updating the deal. Your people still write the agreement and decide when it goes out.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
